HJCL wrote an article for ACSMA, which has recently been published in the latest addition of INReview. The document, which was designed by ACE, attempts to dispel some of the myths and misconceptions around INR self-monitoring.
It consists of 12 examples of typical myths associated with INR self-monitoring.
ACSMA regularly hear stories about people on long-term warfarin being given incorrect or misleading advice about the options for self-monitoring blood clotting levels (know as the International Normalised Ratio or INR).
